Eric Whaley

Eric Whaley is a senior executive with significant experience in overseeing large-scale business and technology transformations. He is an effective change agent with a history of leveraging technologies and building inspired teams.
As Chief Information Officer at Wolseley Canada, Eric leads transformation initiatives, and all aspects of technology.
Prior to joining Wolseley, Eric was the Chief Information Officer at the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC); held senior executive positions at HSBC Canada; was the Chief Technology Officer of the joint venture of Merrill Lynch and HSBC in Canada; and was the Chief Information Officer for the capital markets division of Canada Trust.
Eric holds a Chartered Director designation (C.DIR) through McMaster University. He is a Board member of OCINet (Ontario Clinical Imaging Network – ocinet.ca) and has been for the past 4 years; a member of the University of Windsor Audit committee for the past 2 years; and just recently joined the Board of VisitOakville (visitoakville.com). He served as an Auxiliary Police Officer in Halton Region from 2013 to 2016.
