Steven Beggs joined Wolseley Canada in 2019 as Director of Talent, Organizational Effectiveness, and Learning.
As Vice President, Human Resources, Steven provides strategic direction to Wolseley Canada’s senior leadership team and oversees the human resources division, focusing on employee wellness and engagement, total rewards and talent development.
With a career spanning over two decades, Steven has honed his HR expertise working for global corporations such as The Home Depot and American Express, as well as serving for 12 years in the Canadian Armed Forces. His diverse background has equipped him with a deep understanding of organizational dynamics and employee development.
Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts honours degree in Economics and Commerce and a Master of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from the Royal Military College of Canada. He has also completed certificates in Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University and Strategic Agility from the Schulich Education Centre.
